Kelly is originally from Toledo, Ohio. After receiving her BFA in Dance from Indiana University, she traveled the world for 11 months dancing for Holland America Line/RWS Entertainment Group (dir. Beth Crandall) before moving to New York City.
In NYC, Kelly has continued her work with RWS as a resident workshop dancer and assistant show supervisor. This position gives her the opportunity to regularly workshop new material with choreographers such as Chip Abbott, Marc Kimelman, Jesse Robb, Robin Levine, and Chaz Wolcott.
Most notably, Kelly performed in the pre-broadway world premiere of The Karate Kid at STAGES St. Louis. Other credits include playing Linda in The Wedding Singer at The Gateway Playhouse, Apple TV+'s ROAR (chor. Marguerite Derricks), Footloose at The MUNY, Smokey Joe's Cafe (Delee), Jesus Christ Superstar, and Transcendence Theatre Company where she recently finished her run of the renowned Susan Draus's original show The Beat Goes On. She has also had the privilege of assisting many industry professionals such as Chip Abbott, Heather Rigg, and Daniel Gold.
In addition to her career as a performer, Kelly is also a teacher and choreographer. Kelly has taught at multiple studios in NYC and throughout the country. Her choreography credits include Legally Blonde (Indiana University), The Little Mermaid (New Canaan High School), and most recently Terror Rising at King's Island. Most recently Kelly taught at ADTC's summer dance session in Vermont.
